SYNOPSIS

Siuan, a young girl, has only ever known this small comfortable but prison like cell. So when a red kite comes down through the pipe and she learns there’s something else out there for her to discover, Siuan decides to find that ‘something else’, the outside, even at the risk of traversing a world of unknown danger.

The RED Kite is a story about freedom. It is about being alone, and being together. Siuan’s journey with the red kite shows how even within the world of constrained comfort, human beings generally will risk unconstrained danger for even a glimpse of togetherness, a glimpse of simple humanity.
